Modern industrial production of a wide range of heating needs, such as plastic materials, heating molding, drying materials, paint heating curing drying, polymer materials, curing, heating and gasification of the furnace medium, food production baking and so on. At present, industrial production is carrying out a new wave of energy-saving equipment, low-energy, low-emission low-carbon green manufacturing is the world's industrial manufacturing industry is facing a common mission.

However, any heating system can not avoid the loss of heat. In theory, as long as the production process to reduce the heating time, simplify the heating process, it represents a reduction in the loss of heat, saving more energy. Because the loss of heat is proportional to the time, in order to meet the heating requirements of heated objects under the premise of speed up the heat transfer heat, thereby reducing the heating time, is an effective way to save energy.

The process of heating and drying is essentially a simultaneous synchronization of two physical phenomena, namely heat transfer and mass transfer. Heat transfer will raise the temperature of the heated material, increase the flow rate of the moisture or solvent of the heated material, and evaporate the moisture or solvent. The mass transfer will cause the moisture or solvent inside the subject to move to the surface of the subject, resulting in evaporation.

In general, the method of heating and drying can be divided into three categories, namely, conduction, convection and radiation. In fact, the three heating and drying methods rarely exist independently, most of which is two or three simultaneous heat transfer. In the following, we focus on the advantages of radiant heating compared with the other two heat transfer modes: 1, to improve the radiation value of the radiation source; 2, to improve the heat absorption rate; 3, increase the surface area of the radiation source; 4, increase the value of the angle factor; 5, to improve the surface temperature of the radiation source;

6, to achieve spectral matching heat transfer.

In the three ways of industrial heating and drying, due to the particularity of radiation heating, it has become an important way to solve the energy crisis. It is proved that radiant heating is one of the most effective energy saving and heating technologies.

Radiation heating and drying, including infrared, ultraviolet, microwave, electron beam and laser. Infrared heating and drying is the principle of heat transfer after electromagnetic radiation, to avoid the heating medium energy loss situation, effectively reduce the heat loss. Compared with the traditional industrial heating method, the infrared heating method has the advantages of fast heating speed, short drying time, high production efficiency, improved product quality and less space occupied by equipment.
