Relationship between surface temperature of tubular electric heating element and heating temperature

Heating pipe 1, heating the static air condition When a straight pipe with a diameter of φ8 is

 placed in still air (infinite space) for energization, when the thermal equilibrium is reached, 

the tube surface power reaches 3 watts / cm 2 or 5 watts / cm 2 (formerly known as tube surface 

load), then the tube surface temperature corresponding to 550 ℃ or 650 ℃ or so. The test method 

is as follows: Assuming the tube surface radiation coefficient ε = 0.80, the temperature of the 

air placed at 27 ℃, that is, 300K power. (T-t0) × 10-4 ∴ 3 = 0.80 × t = 3 × t = (T-300) + 

1.32 × (T-300) × 10-4 The T-table = 540 ° C = 813K is substituted into the equation 3 = 1.94 + 

1.07 by the test method. When the surface power density is 3 W / cm 2, the corresponding tube 

surface temperature is 550 ° C; the same tube surface power density is 5 W / cm 2, the 

corresponding tube surface temperature is 650 ° C.
