In the line of manufacturing heating element, stainless steel 304 (SUS304) is mostly used. SUS304 heater is widely used in heating liquid without strong acid nor alkaline, and heating in air. Stainless steel 304 has better comprehensive performance over other stainless steel materials. For example, the former is much more flexible and moderate, which is also the important reason of widely usage in producing heaters.
Stainless steel 301 is prone to hardening in processing. SUS301 heat element is usually used in high-intensity applications.
SUS302 has higher carbon content than SUS304. After being cold-rolled, SUS302 heaters have high strength.
SUS303 is easy to cut for its sulfur. It is mainly used under circumstance which re quests more on cut and surface finish
Compared with SUS304, SUS304L is lower in carbon content. Because of this, SUS304L heater is much easier to be corroded during welding process in production.
Stainless steel 316 includes aluminum. So SUS316 heating element can be applied to environment which has weak acid and alkaline.
SUS321 includes more titanium against other stainless steel materials. SUS321 heaters are most anti corrosive. They are widely used in high temperature and under acid or alkaline environment.
