The boiling temperature of the refrigerant, due to less heat absorption and moisture in the air, forms ice or frost on the surface.
When the air conditioner is heating in winter, the temperature of the outdoor unit heat exchanger is very low. When it meets the ambient air, it will cause frosting. If the frost is too thick, it will affect the working efficiency of the air conditioner. Therefore, the air conditioner will automatically perform the defrosting treatment. The defrosting is actually switching the four-way valve to change the flow direction of Freon (the air conditioner is in the cooling state but the indoor fan does not work, otherwise it will blow the cold air), so that the outdoor heat exchanger heats up and melts the frost, the time is about 2 About 3 minutes.
